Data Deletion

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains what gets deleted, what must be retained by law, and exactly how to make the request.
How to Request Account and Data Deletion
Send an email to:

Subject line: Data Deletion Request
Include: The email address associated with your Viera account, and which connected platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube) you wish to disconnect, if applicable.
We will confirm receipt within 3 business days and complete the deletion within 30 days of verification.
What Gets Deleted
- Your account and login credentials.
- Your profile — name, bio, photo, social handles, niche, portfolio.
- Your messages and conversations on the Platform.
- Your campaign applications, bookings, and associated content submissions.
- Social platform connection data — any OAuth tokens and cached metrics from Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube.
- Notification history and preferences.
- Any referral codes associated with your account.
What We Are Required to Keep
Certain data must be retained to comply with Albanian tax and accounting law (Law No. 9920, "On Tax Procedures", and Law No. 9228, "On Accounting and Financial Reporting"). Specifically:
- Invoice records, including amounts, dates, and the names of parties to a transaction — retained for 7 years.
- Payment confirmation references from Stripe — retained for 7 years.
These records are kept with the minimum personal data necessary (typically business name and invoice reference) and are not used for any other purpose after account deletion.
Connected Platform Data (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube)
When you connect a social account to Viera via OAuth, we store a limited set of public profile data (name, follower count, engagement rate) in our database. We do not store your social platform password, private messages, or any data beyond what the platform API explicitly provides.
To remove this data:
- Disconnect the platform from your Viera account settings at any time — this revokes our access token and removes the cached metrics.
- Or include the platform name in your data deletion request email and we will remove it within 30 days.
- You can also revoke Viera's access directly from the settings of the social platform (e.g. TikTok → Settings → Apps and Sessions → Revoke access for Viera).
Revoking access in the social platform or disconnecting in Viera settings will immediately stop any future data collection. It does not automatically delete data already stored — use the email request above to delete stored data.
Verification
To protect your account, we will verify your identity before processing a deletion request. We may ask you to confirm the email address on the account or answer a security question. We will not process deletion requests from unverified email addresses.
After Deletion
Once your account is deleted you will not be able to log in or recover your data. Public creator profiles and campaign history visible to brands will be removed. Any ongoing campaign bookings should be resolved before requesting deletion — contact support@viera.al if you have an active booking and wish to close your account.
